InBody body composition analysis

Scales don’t tell you how much fat you’re losing or muscle you’re gaining. An InBody scan does, in about 30 seconds.

The InBody 380 body composition analyzer

Why your bathroom scale misleads you

Weight loss is not the same as fat loss. As we age we naturally lose some dense muscle mass, so a lower number on the scale doesn’t always mean we’re in better shape. The key to fitness is losing excess body fat, not overall weight.

Your weight is made up of muscle, fat, bone and water. The proportions of these are your body composition, and the InBody 380 measures each one in your arms, legs and trunk.

What your InBody results show

  • Skeletal muscle mass
  • Percent body fat and body fat mass
  • Basal metabolic rate
  • Abdominal fat analysis
  • Changes over time in your body composition history

With that data you can see which exercise and nutrition plans actually work for you and make small adjustments that add up. We recommend a scan every two to four weeks to track progress toward your goals.
